How to create a short ecourse?

Why should you give away a free course?

To collect email addresses and do follow up and sell your products.

Number one reason: People tend to forget easily. If a visitor comes to your web site to check out your product and gone means, how much is the chance of his revisit to your site?

Before he will be gone, try to grab his email address... OFFER A FREE ECOURSE! Sound simple?

Number two reason: Once he is a customer means, more chances of buying second product of yours.

Number three reason: You will get a chance to explain him about your affiliate product in detail in your free course.

How to write an ecourse on my affiliate product?

***First decide how many days you are going to send the ecourse. I personally prefer 5 - 7 days that goes everyday for 5 - 7 days.

***Second is software used to send the ecourse: I use an autoresponder + mailing list manager software. I use it as an autoresponder to send ecourses at regular intervals and as mailing list manager to send Broadcast emails to my ezine subscribers. This way I don't have to buy follow up autoresponder and mailing list manager seperately.

Follow up Autoresponder Pro ADVANCED: Reasonable cost with lot of features.
AutoresponsePlus: Good but expensive.

***Third is How to write an ecourse?

For example I am an affiliate for search engine optimization ebook and giving away a free ecourse on search engine optimization. I will divide my 5 messages this way for an example of an ecourse that based on search engine optimization:

  • First message: I will let the subscriber open the email with an attractive subject line like "15 Minutes/day keeps You in Top 10 position in Search engines". Say thanks for subscribing your ecourse in the message body along with use of this free ecourse to him.

  • Second message: I will tell about Google search engine. Traffic will be staggering if get listed in Google in CORRECT METHOD. I will explain how Google bans the sites. Keep a link to my ebook link and tell them, "Get listed in Google, The Most Powerful search engine with in a month using our ebook. SELFPROMOTION AT LOW COST!".

  • Third message: I will explain about Yahoo! Strategies and a link to the ebook.

  • Fourth message: Explain product BENEFITS.

  • Fifth message: Offer free bonus if he buys in two days.

You can adjust the number of messages, keep more messages on product benefits etc, The above is just a guideline.

Remember THREE things:

1. DON'T give the impression to your subscriber that you are trying to sell your product to him.

2. Be sincere in explaining about your affiliate product. Leave the hype. Subscribers are smart. They know what is what.

3. Remember, always explain benefits of your affiliate product in an attractive manner.
